A pair of unusual lounge chairs in the style of Ico Parisi, entirely restored, 1960s ca. This iconic design features four sculptural arching legs tapered on solid brass sabots and smaller back legs placed at 45 degrees to the chair frame. The curved back and flared arms, springs, foam, straps, and dacron have been renewed and fully reupholstered in a high-end grey cotton velvet by Holland & Sherry. Five upholstered buttons accompany the tight seat on the back.

Design concerning:ICO PARISI
Domenico Parisi was an Italian architect and designer born in 1916 in Palermo. Next, in the 1940s, he decided to be involved in filmmaking and began designing furniture in 1945, which started to build recognition. Their Italian mid-century Modern aesthetic exposed dramatic designs using softwood, often cut into unique-like shapes. His most prolific period was the two decades that preceded 1965.
